Yesterday a much deserved break was taken from the stresses of work and we took ourselves on a trip to a beautiful country house near to where we live. They have a marvellous space for exhibitions and host them all year round, from illustrators to photography - it's inspired to find often hidden treasures in the world of design in this historic building. And they have such a lovely room in which to sit and have afternoon tea:
We always take a little walk around the garden, in Summer time it's particularly pretty as they grow a meadow complete with wild flowers. Yesterday though it was cold and windy and we came across a few peacocks huddled up together... around a bin for some reason.
And then it's back to work, a lot of what I'm doing at the moment is in progress and remains unfinished. So for that reason, here's my one finished piece, a C&H collaborative effort:
